How do I complete a return order with age-restricted items?
If you choose to accept a return order with age-restricted items, you should deliver it to the customer as usual. When you get to the delivery address, if you cannot deliver the order – for example, if the customer does not have a valid ID, is in a public place or appears to be drunk – tap ‘Can’t deliver items.’
Then, the app will ask you to return the entire order to the site, rather than dispose of the alcohol.
You can choose whether to return the order immediately, or anytime that’s convenient within 24 hours.
